We are delighted to bring you a brief, fatherly encouragement by Terry Virgo looking at Praying in the Spirit from Ephesians 6.

Terry begins by stressing the importance of praying in the Spirit as part of the part of the armour of God. He then goes on to describe how praying in the Spirit is all about cultivating an intimate, responsive connection with our heavenly Father, as we enjoy and delight in Him and listen and respond to the way His Spirit is prompting us. Have you noticed that God can keep “unsociable hours” – maybe it’s because “…..He who keeps Israel will neither slumber [briefly] nor sleep [soundly].” Ps 121:4.
