Early in the Covid pandemic, Wendy Slater organised a wonderful campaign to support some of the world’s poorest and most economically vulnerable people living in Lesotho. Individuals from City Church and across Dundee, Scotland, the UK and the ends of the world all contributed to raise nearly £4000 which was sent out in June. The generosity expressed helped fund Covid Care Packages for 260 families / nearly 1000 people.
Pete West, leader of the River of Life Church in Maseru, has sent us the video below to express his thanks, to show (through lots of pictures and video clips) how this money has helped many people and also to let us know about a special Christmas Appeal which aims to provide 200 families with special Christmas Care Packages this season (more details below).

2020 Christmas Care Packages Appeal
Hope for Lesotho aims to provide 200 families with special Christmas care packages over this season to help vulnerable families who have been deeply affected by the economic situation that Covid 19 has caused.
Each Christmas Care Package will include:
- Food staples for a month
- Toiletries
- Children’s clothing
- Covid-19 Health Leaflet
- Vegetable Seeds
- New Testament
