A great encouragement from Diane today:
The Lord gave me Psalm 29 last week.
It is a reminder to everyone who knows Him that His voice is all powerful and all magnificent and the sheer volume of it can cause rippling effects upon the world, all mighty and strong like nothing on this earth has ever known.
Give Him the Glory, the Honour and Praise for He is One who loves us and keeps us safe at perilous times, especially.
Call upon the Voice of the Lord and let it come in Power: when in Prayer, in Singing, in Authority and stand in His authority knowing your Abba Father is with you!
1 Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.
3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord, over many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars; the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes Lebanon to skip like a calf, and Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth and strips the forests bare, and in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
10 The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord sits enthroned as king forever.
11 May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!
Psalm 29
Geof shared this also:
Our Nation is obviously still suffering from the affects of Covid 19 & we may feel helpless but Scripture says:
“The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.”
James 5:16b-18
And we ARE:
the righteousness of God.
2 Corinthians 5:21b
So, let’s be active in our thoughts and prayers for an end to this destructive illness. Nothing is beyond the power of our good Father.
We know sickness is never from Him – so when we seek Him we can be confident that He will hear and accomplish all that we ask. So, my righteous family, lets pray with assurance that He hears us and will act.
Let’s especially pray for our Prime Minister who is in hospital suffering from the virus.
The enemy is on the prowl but we’ve read The Book and we know the One who has won! Jesus said:
Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.”
John 14:1
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
John 15:11
He knew that there would be bad times for us but no matter what, we can still have His joy (remember, joy is not the same as happiness) to sustain us in times like these.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might……
……..praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
Ephesians 6: 10,18
So be encouraged and have a blessed day.
Good Morning
As the Covid 19 situation continues it’s sometimes challenging not to get disheartened and then lose sight of Jesus.
The News and other updates are not always very encouraging 😕. But, we need to refocus on “thanksgiving” as our platform for our prayers. We can be grateful for the Divine direct and indirect intervention in all the healing and restoration we’ve seen so far, with more to come.
So my dear friends let’s be sure of the God we love, constant in our prayers and loving others the best we can.
The writer to the Hebrews said:-
“Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.”Heb 10:24
We live in a season when we see this promise fulfilled – so let’s be true to all that Father has called us to be.
Be blessed today – and certainly the “Life” is with us!
This website brings “the numbers” into perspective. We have to remember too that many of the deaths would have naturally occurred, the unexplained ones are a “mystery” but we can trust Jesus will take care of those mysteries too.
