The bible paints a picture of the normal Christian life as one that brings the kingdom of God wherever we are, characterised by seeing the sick healed, the oppressed set free, the lost saved and the broken hearted restored. Have you noticed that God can keep “unsociable hours” – maybe it’s because “…..He who keeps Israel will neither slumber [briefly] nor sleep [soundly].” Ps 121:4.
